Leadership & Governance
The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation is governed by its Board of Directors, pursuant to the Foundation’s Bylaws. Officers of the Foundation include the President, who is Chairperson; Vice President; Treasurer; Secretary; Immediate Past President; and a Legal Advisor, who each serve a one-year term, beginning upon their election at the Annual Meeting.
In 2011, Vickie Schatz joined KCMBF’s professional staff as Executive Director, after a 16-year legal career in litigation and corporate law. Vickie leads KCMBA’s staff of 15 employees and is responsible for the business operations of the Association and Foundation. Click here to learn more about KCMBA’s professional staff.
All KCMBA members are invited to apply for open positions on the 2015 KCMBF Board of Directors. Open Board positions, the nomination process, and the 2015 Nominating Committee are listed below.
KCMBF 2015 Officers & Board of Directors
The Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for positions for the 2015 Board of Directors. Positions available for 2015 are Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Legal Advisor and eight (8) Member-at-Large positions. The slate selected by the Nominating Committee shall be presented to the Board of Directors for approval at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting on November 18, 2014, and terms of all officers shall commence as of January 1, 2015.
