KCMBA also offers education programs targeted to relatively new lawyers to help them build a solid foundation for their futures as members of the legal profession.
The Bar Leadership Academy (BLA) is an eight-month program to facilitate the development of emerging leaders of the greater Kansas City legal community.
The Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy (formerly “Inn of Court”), organized in conjunction with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, is an eight-month program designed to enhance trial skills and foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, collegiality and legal skills.
The Law Practice Institute helps new lawyers to develop the practical skills and knowledge needed in the everyday practice of law.
