COVID-19 Visitor Safety Protocol for KCMBA/KCMBF/2300 Event Center
Updated September 10, 2021
The health and safety of our members, guests and staff has been and continues to be our top priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, we have closely and consistently followed all local, state and federal pandemic safety orders as well as pandemic recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, conservatively balancing the need to convene in person with the personal safety of all involved. After pivoting to a completely remote environment in March, 2020, we were cautiously planning the addition of in-person meetings and events to our remote delivery of services beginning in August. However, given the current spread of the Delta Variant of COVID-19, we are reverting to the remote meeting format, via Zoom, as set forth in more detail below. Given the evolving nature of the pandemic, this protocol is subject to change at any time. All changes will be posted on this page.
The current protocol was revised following the KCMO Mask Order dated July 30, 2021.
• Most member and committee meetings will remain on Zoom. KCMBA/KCMBF/2300 Event Center facilities are open in a limited capacity for in-person meetings and events. Visitors are allowed by appointment only. Call 816-474-4322 or email email@example.com
to schedule an appointment. Masks are required while inside the facilities. Although encouraged, masks will not be required for fully-vaccinated visitors while outside on the KCMBA Skyline Patio. A COVID-19 Visitor Declaration Form
is required prior to entry. Staff reserves the right to deny entry to any visitor. Enhanced cleaning protocol is in place and social distancing will be strongly encouraged
