KCMBA is supported by a staff of thirteen full-time employees, led by Executive Director Vickie Mauck. While working in several different departments, our common goal is to ensure that attorneys in the Kansas City area view KCMBA as a valuable resource in enhancing their experience as legal professionals. Vickie Mauck
Executive Director

Vickie is the chief operating officer and managing executive of KCMBA and KCMBF. She oversees the development of programs and policies, provides direction to the Board of Directors, and supervises day-to-day operations. Vickie is also responsible for supervising fiscal and budgetary matters including budget preparation and accounting, managing the implementation of the mission statement and ensuring the effectiveness of the KCMBA staff.

Patsy Rutherford
Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation Director

Patsy is responsible for coordinating all elements of the Foundation’s signature programs, Legal Connection: Military Matters and the Domestic Violence and Children Interdisciplinary Conference. She manages the planning and execution of the Foundation’s Liberty & Justice Gala and the Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP) events. Patsy is also responsible for maintaining the Foundation’s existing grants as well as securing funding through additional grant opportunities and fundraising events. She provides administrative support to the Foundation Board of Directors and sub-committees.

Alissa Biermaier
Coordinator of Military Matters

Alissa oversees a signature program of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation, Legal Connection: Military Matters. She is responsible for connecting veterans and active duty military personnel with volunteer attorneys who provide pro-bono legal assistance to this population. She works closely with the Foundation Director and the program’s community partners and volunteer attorneys to help resolve the unmet legal needs of Kansas City’s military. In addition, Alissa coordinates the planning and execution of the annual Military Matters Symposium and provides support to the Operating Committee.

Len Conner
Director of Finance & Administration

Len is responsible for the administration and accuracy of the financial activities and human resource functions of KCMBA and KCMBF. He provides oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, auditing, budgeting, cost-containment, cash control, payroll, tax filing, accounts receivable and payable, asset accounting, employee benefits, insurance and related financial reporting.

Erin Cook
Coordinator of Sections & CLE

Erin is responsible for providing support to KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, Continuing Legal Education programs and the Director and Manager of Sections and CLE. She assists with registration and coordination for both meetings and Continuing Legal Education programs. In addition, she provides support with Section special events and assists with the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy program.  

Alex Drummond
Coordinator of Member Services

Alex is responsible for all daily administrative work, the Courthouse Security Pass System, and new member admittance and assistance. She serves as an administrative assistant to the directors, aiding in various aspects of the Association’s overall mission to serve the needs of our members.

Kim Elrod
Director of Sections & CLE

Kim is responsible for KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, providing support to leadership and members in their various roles and activities including special events associated with the Sections and Committees. She is also responsible for KCMBA’s Continuing Legal Education program providing oversight with strategic planning, budgeting and marketing of programs which encompasses the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy program.
Amanda Farris
Manager of Brand and Publications

Amanda is responsible for managing the production, content, design and layout of KCMBA's online presence, publications, brochures and marketing materials. This includes the KC Counselor magazine, Bar Directory, social media, and event marketing collateral. 
Greg Wacker
Director of Information Technology

Greg evaluates, maintains and upgrades all Association hardware and software including the conference center equipment. He is responsible for the upkeep of the Association’s membership database and the courthouse security pass system. Greg also provides technical support for the KCMBA website and resolves user issues such as login failures.

Sharra Wagner
Manager of Sections & CLE

Sharra works closely with Kim Elrod and Erin Cook to support the meetings and activities of the eight sections and forty committees of KCMBA. She also helps plan Continuing Legal Education programming and special events, including the Annual Meeting and the Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference. 

Sierra Williams
Coordinator of Data Records

Sierra's role is to support the main functions related to membership. Sierra is responsible for data management, which includes entering, updating and correcting member data, processing incoming forms for member and firm or company updates, compiling and maintaining accurate contact information for Kansas and Missouri Courts sections published in KCMBA's yearly Directory of the Greater Kansas City Legal Community.
Pamela Yonker
Director of Membership and Communications

Pamela is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with KCMBA partners, sponsors and advertisers.  To that end, she manages the display and classified advertising sales in the KC Counselor and the Bar Directory, secures sponsorships and vendors for special events such as the yearly Bench-Bar & Boardroom conference and the KCMBA Annual Meeting, and oversees our Affinity Partner Program.  Pamela also coordinates member benefits and assists with member engagement programs.  

Karli Young
Coordinator of Hospitality and Facilities

Karli is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the KCMBA calendar of events.  This includes scheduling, event management, preparing room-set ups, event clean up, and maintaining the cleanliness and repair of the offices and conference facilities.
