Vickie Mauck
Executive Director

Vickie is the chief operating officer and managing executive of KCMBA and KCMBF. 
She oversees the development of programs and policies, provides direction to the Board of Directors,
and supervises day-to-day operations.  Vickie is also responsible for supervising fiscal and budgetary
matters including budget preparation and accounting, managing the implementation of the mission
statement and ensuring the effectiveness of the KCMBA staff.



                    Peggy Boehm

Coordinator of Sections & CLE

Peggy is responsible for providing support to KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, Continuing Legal Education programs and the Director of Sections and CLE. She assists with registration and coordination for both meetings and Continuing Legal Education programs. In addition, she provides support with Section special events.
            Lori Brandow
Director of Membership & Communications

Lori is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the association’s membership, marketing, publications, and communications policies, procedures and operations. Lori is also responsible for the management of the Affinity Partner program, including developing and maintaining relationships with partners. 

                  Gabby DeFonso
Coordinator of Brand and Graphic Design

Gabby is responsible for managing the production, design, and layout of KCMBA's online presence, publications,and marketing materials, including the KC Counselor magazine, yearly Directory of the Greater Kansas City Legal Community, social media, and event branding and marketing collateral.

                Kim Elrod
Director of Sections & CLE

Kim is responsible for KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, providing support to leadership and members in their various roles and activities including special events associated with the Sections and Committees.  She is also responsible for KCMBA’s Continuing Legal Education program providing oversight with strategic planning, budgeting and marketing of programs which encompasses the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy program.


Ángela García
Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Angela is responsible for a range of DEI initiatives that foster an inclusive legal community. As the staff liaison to the DEI Action Plan/ Collaborative, diversity bar associations, and the Diversity Section and committees she implements key initiatives and signature Diversity events.

Bethany Goettling
Advertising Coordinator

Bethany is responsible for supporting the financial goals of KCMBA and the marketing needs of its members by coordinating all aspects of advertising and sponsorship opportunities. She monitors the legal community happenings to help ensure KCMBA’s media reflects law firm updates and member’s successes.  She also maintains the online Career Center, coordinates ADR Finder, produces the Keeping up with the Bar section of the KC Counselor, and supports the Affinity Partner program.


Meagan Holloway
Senior Coordinator of Sections & CLE

Meagan is responsible for providing support to KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, Continuing Legal Education programs and the Director of Sections and CLE. She assists with registration and coordination for both meetings and Continuing Legal Education programs. In addition, she provides support with Section special events.


Olivia Jensik
Coordinator of KCMBF

Olivia works closely with the Foundation Director and is responsible for a wide variety of administrative, clerical, and program support activities and event logistics for KCMBF volunteers and committees. She fosters positive relationships with community partners and volunteer attorneys to help ensure the success of the foundation’s Legal Connection programs.


Alice Lemmons
Accounting & Office Manager

Alice oversees financial operations of accounting, budgeting, payroll, procurement functions, and accounts payable. She is also responsible for human resources services, administrative functions, and supervision of the front desk.


Robin Levine
Director of Events & Hospitality

Robin is responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of hospitality including use and rentals of KCMBA facilities, meeting logistics for internal KCMBA meetings and the Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference, KCMBA’s Annual Meeting and fundraising events (including silent and live auctions) associated with the annual KCMBF Gala. 


Carlos Mercado
Membership Coordinator

Carlos is responsible for building relationships and programs that produce membership potential while coordinating and implementing plans for member retention and growth. Carlos also develops and updates website content, coordinates all social media, edits the In Re KCMBA Podcasts, and assists with Lawyer Finder and other member benefits.


Kai Milanovich 
Receptionist/Executive Assistant

Kai fills a dual role of supporting the Executive Director as well as working as the front desk receptionist. They are the primary point of contact for general calls, front office coordination, and organizational scheduling and a range of other administrative tasks. Kai simultaneously supports other departments in the organization and execution of events and services which they provide, and, in particular, maintains the Courthouse Security Pass system.

              Greg Wacker
Director of Information Technology

Greg evaluates, maintains and upgrades all Association hardware and software including the conference center equipment.  He is responsible for the upkeep of the Association’s membership database and the courthouse security pass system.  Greg also provides technical support for the KCMBA website and resolves user issues such as login failures.

harra Wagner
Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation Director

Sharra is responsible for coordinating all elements of the Foundation’s Legal Connection programs: Domestic Violence Alliance, Military Matters, and Student Law Academy (SLA).  She manages the planning and execution of the Foundation’s Liberty & Justice Gala and the Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP) events.  Sharra is also responsible for supporting the Foundation’s financial health and she provides administrative support to the Foundation Board of Directors and committees.
