KCMBA Staff

KCMBA is supported by a staff full-time employees led by Executive Director Vickie Mauck.  While working in several different departments, our common goal is to ensure that attorneys in the Kansas City area view KCMBA as a valuable resource in enhancing their experience as legal professionals.  We encourage you to contact any of KCMBA’s staff members at (816) 474-4322 for assistance.

Vickie Mauck
Executive Director

Vickie is the chief operating officer and managing executive of KCMBA and KCMBF.  She oversees the development of programs and policies, provides direction to the Board of Directors, and supervises day-to-day operations.  Vickie is also responsible for supervising fiscal and budgetary matters including budget preparation and accounting, managing the implementation of the mission statement and ensuring the effectiveness of the KCMBA staff.


 Sharra Wagner

Sharra is responsible for coordinating all elements of the Foundation’s Legal Connection programs: Domestic Violence Alliance, Military Matters, and Student Law Academy (SLA).  She manages the planning and execution of the Foundation’s Liberty & Justice Gala and the Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP) events.  Sharra is also responsible for supporting the Foundation’s fiduciary health and she provides administrative support to the Foundation Board of Directors and committees.

Peggy is responsible for providing support to KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, Continuing Legal Education programs and the Director and Manager of Sections and CLE. She assists with registration and coordination for both meetings and Continuing Legal Education programs. In addition, she provides support with Section special events.

  Gabby is responsible for managing the production, design, and layout of KCMBA's online presence, publications, and marketing materials, including the KC Counselor magazine, yearly Directory of the Greater Kansas City Legal Community, social media, and event branding and marketing collateral.

Kim Elrod

Kim is responsible for KCMBA’s Sections and Committees, providing support to leadership and members in their various roles and activities including special events associated with the Sections and Committees.  She is also responsible for KCMBA’s Continuing Legal Education program providing oversight with strategic planning, budgeting and marketing of programs which encompasses the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy program.
Marie Gant

Marie is responsible building and maintaining relationships with KCMBA partners, sponsors, and advertisers.  She manages all advertising sales in KCMBA's monthly member magazine, KC Counselor, and the yearly Directory of the Greater Kansas City Legal Community.  She works with area firms and business to secure sponsorships for KCMBA events special events such as the yearly Bench-Bar & Boardroom conference and the KCMBA Annual Meeting.  She also manages social media content for KCMBA and KCMBF as well as the members-only Career Center on the KCMBA website and the member discount program.

Olivia Jensik

Olivia works closely with the Foundation Director and is responsible for a wide variety of administrative, clerical, and program support activities and event logistics for KCMBF volunteers and committees. She fosters positive relationships with community partners and volunteer attorneys to help ensure the success of the foundation’s Legal Connection programs.
Greg Wacker

Greg evaluates, maintains and upgrades all Association hardware and software including the conference center equipment.  He is responsible for the upkeep of the Association’s membership database and the courthouse security pass system.  Greg also provides technical support for the KCMBA website and resolves user issues such as login failures.

Karli Young

Karli is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the KCMBA calendar of events.  This includes scheduling, event management, preparing room-set ups, event clean up, and maintaining the cleanliness and repair of the offices and conference facilities.
