Volunteer

KCMBF has a long and successful history of providing a helping hand to the legal community. Our work can’t be done alone, and we’ve made some great friends along the way, including individual contributors, corporate and firm sponsors and dedicated volunteers who believe, as we do, in the importance of giving back.

Volunteer to participate on a committee
KCMBF has many committees designed to support Foundation programs and there are opportunities for your involvement as a member of KCMBA. Some of the committees are in support of the Foundation overall and some are specific to a particular program.
Foundation Committees include:  Fundraising, Community Outreach and Strategic Planning.

Committees specific to KCMBF programs include: the Liberty & Justice Gala Committee, Military Matters Operating Committee, and Domestic Violence & Children’s Interdisciplinary Conference Committee.

Volunteer to be part of our Military Matters attorney referral network
The signature program of KCMBF, Legal Connection: Military Matters provides pro bono legal services to veterans and active duty military personnel who reside in or have home of record in KCMBF’s nine county service territory and do not qualify for aid from other agencies.  Volunteers are a crucial part of the success of the program.
