Tired of waiting in long security lines at the courthouse? You need a Courthouse Security Pass!


Courthouse Security Passes are available to any attorney who is in good standing with his or her state Bar. The Pass currently provides electronic security bypass (subject to random security checks) at 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO (Downtown Kansas City); 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO (Eastern Jackson County - Independence); and Kansas City, MO, Municipal Court. Pass holders must agree to terms and conditions. All program access, rules & privileges are subject to change at any time.

Getting a courthouse pass is easy. The price is $50 for KCMBA members and $100 for non-members and may be obtained through the following application remote application process: 

1. Print and complete the application, including payment and mail or fax it to the address/fax listed below (we cannot accept credit card payments via email);  
2. KCMBA Staff will contact you to schedule a brief Zoom meeting at which you will show  a valid picture ID and your current Bar card and have your picture taken;
3. KCMBA will print and mail your new card to the address indicated in the application process. 
     
All passes expire July 31, 2021.  After obtaining a Pass, annual renewals may be easily processed online at www.kcmba.org.
