JOIN
KCMBA membership targets attorneys and non-attorney allies in a nine-county coverage area surrounding the Kansas City metro.
- ATTORNEYS: Membership fees for attorneys are tiered based on the year one passed the bar.
- STUDENTS: Law Students get complimentary membership while in school and their first year out of school, after passing the bar.
- DISCOUNTED GROUPS: Public/Government attorneys get a discounted rate, as do retired members, attorneys outside of the nine-county area and non-attorneys.

MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES
- FELLOW: For an additional fee of $500 annually you will receive the most prominent level of KCMBA membership.
- SUSTAINING: For an additional fee of $100 annually you will receive increased exposure while benefitting KCMBA's mission.
- ADR FINDER: For an additional fee of $289 for members and $689 for non-members, you will benefit from targeted promotion around your mediation practice.

RENEW
Membership runs with the calendar year (January 1 – December 31) and is renewed annually. Dues Renewal begins in September, but it is possible to renew at any time throughout the year. KCMBA does not prorate dues. KCMBA memberships are tied to an individual, not a law firm or employer.

BEST PRACTICES
- INDIVIDUALS: Keep your information updated. Save time by signing-up for auto-renewal, and by including a mobile phone number on your account.
- FIRMS: Request a firm bill (if your firm has 6 or more attorney members). While individuals receive invitations to renew, firms with six or more attorney members can elect to receive a single invoice (aka "firm bill") for all attorneys to simplify their renewal process.
