Debrief and Panel Discussion on Viability of Arbitration

A group of employers recently banded together to support legislation aimed at making it easier for employers to implement and enforce agreements to arbitrate disputes with employees. A handful of recent court decisions have significantly limited employers' ability to enforce arbitration agreements in Missouri. Employees have recently filed legal actions against employers who have implemented creative measures to work around the limitations imposed by recent case law. This panel discussion will include a debrief on the proposed legislation, as well as a discussion from all sides on the future of arbitration agreements in Missouri.
